How big of a memory card GB wise can you use with a Panasonic Lumix DMC FX7 digital camera?

JW I can use 2GB but was wondering about larger sizes like 4GB and 8GB and 16 GB.

2GB is the maximum you can have on your camera, as it doesn't support SDHC.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ7 has a lot going for it. This is a smaller, compact digital camera with a 12x optical zoom lens. It is a little on the large side for fitting into a pocket, but when you consider the amount of zoom on offer this is still a very small camera. As well as offering obvious telephoto quality for zooming in at distance the lens has one of the widest shooting angles available. When it comes to the quality of the still images the Lumix DMC TZ7 is hard to beat in its class. I was knocked out by the sharpness of the photos I took, especially when considering how wide the lens is on this camera. It manages to overcome the common problem of softer images when the lens is not zoomed in at all. I think the overall picture quality underlines the advantage you often have when buying a digital camera with a larger lens unit. This relates to the physical size of the unit itself rather than the amount of zoom available.

I was also impressed with the quality of close up shots the camera is capable of. You should be able to produce pleasing macro shots if this is one of the areas of photography of interest to you.

As is becoming increasingly common Panasonic has incorporated an intelligent auto mode. When placed in this mode the camera tries to identify the type of scene you are photographing and fine tune the settings accordingly.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ7 is a good choice if you are looking for a camera for your summer holiday or for any travel in general. It offers great flexibility in a number of areas and also takes a great photo.
