My old video camera has packed up and I can't watch the tapes.........?

We have cassettes from an older type video camera - is there a way to view them? They are 8mm video cassettes from a Canon E230 camcorder. Any suggestions please?

You can buy a vhs video cassette which the camcorder tapes will fit inside so you can then watch them on tv or if you have a video with built in dvd recorder can put them on dvd. These are available on the internet, currys, comet etc. Very cheap to buy. Thats what i used with mine.
