Flash Memory Camcorder

Do I want flash memory or dual (flash and hard drive) memory? (for camcorder)?

I am looking between the samsung SMX-F34 and the SC-MX20. i was leaning towards a JVC but when i came upon these samsungs i learned they are more compatibile with windows AND mac. which i will be switching systems in the next year or so to mac. i am leaning towards the f34 with dual because sd cards are so expensive. there is a 100 dollar difference. is there a reason just flash memory could be better?

Flash Memory is better than HDD because they are much more reliable and safer.

But if your future camcorder has a drop sensor or a safety feature that keeps the HDD of the cam safe even if it drops from your hand, then moneywise its better to go for a HDD cam.

Mainly because Flash is very expensive and limited to 16GB. But any HDD cams nowadays comes with 60GB or more.
