Is the JVC GY DV500 a good camera for shooting feature films or music videos?

I am looking to buy one in about a week or so, so i was wondering if that camera would be a good fit.

it is an excellent camera and shoots on miniDV tape. as i remember, the GY DV500 does not shoot in 16:9 widescreen which might be a concern.

Modern machines for transcription are also compatible with computers. You can find many that come bundled with relevant software to make the transition back and forth between the two much easier. This software is rarely mandatory, however, so you only use it if you wish to. Such software is generally Windows-compatible, and very low on system requirements to allow it to be used with no real strain on common work computers.

From all this you ought to be able to tell that working a transcription machine into your job shouldn't be an arduous endeavor. Rather, it should be something that helps you make your life all the easier and simpler. If your machine isn't doing that, you've bought the wrong one!
