Sidekick 3 charging problem?

Hi i just purchased a sidekick 3 off ebay, and when i plug in my friends charger ( did not come w/ charger ) the charge light, lights up but no charge goes to the battery. But heres the twist my sidekick charges at my friends house w/ her charger? But the problem happens at my house?. Also ive tried another charger (not sharp branded if that matters?) it also didn't charge at another store. Ive called T mobile their saying its my Outlet problem?. I think my battery is also wet? The thing above the 3 dots on the battery is Red, does that affect the charging?. Thank you and happy new year. If you can please provide links on any help. I live in the NYC area can anyone give me a good store or a phone number to a store to fix this problem? Thank you.

i would recommend trying different outlets in your house versus one if you havent tried already since it is working at a friends house. I have had multiple sidekick 3's and thats what i would try. if that doesnt seem to work i would recommend getting a new battery or seeing if anyone else has a sidekick 3 (friend) and put their battery in your phone to see if it charges through your outlet.

If their battery in your phone does charge through your outlet then you know its most likely the battery. If not it could be the outlet like tmobile has told you.
